Comment on Stokes & Mundt Chapels - Eau Claire, WI written by: Sher I. 06/24/2011 12:55PM I found an old obituary from 1931 of a family member that specified that Stokes Undertaking Parlor did the funeral and wondered if you had any old records yet? Is this company the same as that one mentioned in 1931? This was for Rev. John Jacob Enge who died in Chicago but was brought back (imagine by train) to Eau Claire. His funeral was from the First Baptist Church and burial in Lake View Cemetery in EC. Thank you.
