the police officers who responded called Burns for us and within
the hour, a nice young man was at our door.

He was supportive and professional, and above all, kind.

He did all the business necessary in a few minutes and
very respectfully took our mother away to her final destiny.

It took us a long time to finish paying for her services, even
though they were very reasonably priced.

Not once, in all that time did Burns bother us about how much
we able to pay each month....they simply accepted our check,
no matter how small until the balance showed 0

Never before had we had to deal with the practically of death.
And we will always be grateful to Burns for making those
practicalities so much more acceptable.

Comment on Burns Funeral Home - Elko, NV written by: Brian H. 03/26/2012 2:53PM I leave this review with a heavy heart, but I'm just one person who wants to give credit where credit is due. The people at Burns did well beyond what I had expected from a funeral home. They had taken out all of the difficult work, taught me things like how to locate relatives and what the proper decorations would be to make my mother's funeral perfect.

I don't think I'll ever get over this loss but it helps to know that there are people like the one's at Burns that have the heart to help people during their struggles.
