My grandfather Joseph Gordon Carr (usually went by Gordon Carr) died in Seattle, Washington on April 19th, 1955. I do have the funeral notice from the Seattle times dated April 20, 1955 that states that services were held at West Home Chapel at 1pm. The notice did not state where he would be buried and I am hoping that there is some way I could find out that information.

West Seattle general was the old west seattle hospital. corner of alaska st and california, se corner now sports drug store, ( old peoples us bank)

you can buy a $20 death certficate from King co head dept 9th terry, seattle, wa
call the local cemeteries... 1959 probably buried at forest lawn cemetery west seattle.

While there we tried to find information about my paternal gradfather, whom I never knew or met. We located his obituary in the archives of the Seattle Times at Central Library, which led us to your funeral home.
His name was Rupert "Bert" Chavis, and he died on April 12, 1959 in Seattle. At the time he lived at 10620 15th SW. We would like any information you might have about my grandfather is your records and, most specifically, where he was buried. Through ancestry.com we received "West Seattle General," but we could not locate any Seattle area cemetery with that name.
We woould be most appreciative of any information you might be able to provide.
