Comment on French Funeral Home - Gouverneur, NY written by: Alan D. Kinney 5 stars 2011-06-22 09:01:24 I have found the French funeral home to be one of the mose compassionate and caring funeral homes I have ever dealt with in 32 years of ministry in central and northern ny. The staff goes above and beyond what many other funeral homes would even consider.
I am dying to use their services myself!

Comment on French Funeral Home - Gouverneur, NY written by: Judy Kelsey 4 stars 2011-04-07 10:13:35 I don't know if people from out of town are allowed to leave messages for the families you tend to. Being out of state I sometimes read about the loss of a family member of a friend thru the Watertown Times website.. Losing touch so with friends in town does't mean we have forgotten them. When the obits are posted in the paper and the funeral home is mentioned is their a way to send our condolenses thru you to them... As my thoughts and prayers are with Jim and Terry Streeter now on the loss of their son.

French Funeral Home - Gouverneur, NY Jim Ellis Obituary announcement - Posted by Bill Collins 2012-03-25 13:04:35 Drew, very sad to see the notice of your Dad's passing in the paper today. Easily one of the best people I have come across in my life. Whenever I knew Jim was at the Gas Station my whole perspective changed, I could relax and know that things would be well taken care of. The world cannot afford to lose a person of your Dad's character but unfortunately we do not control how long we will be on this earth.. In many momemts of my life both personal and business I often consider what Jim would have done or said in that particular situation.

Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and Christine at this time.
