My very first memories of Uncle Ray was when I was 3 years old and was at my Grandmother's apartment in the Bronx and all the family were there for some family gathering. There was always a family gathering. Anyway, there was a huge closet in the livingroom with a ledge on top. Uncle Ray lifted me and put me on top of the ledge and left me there. I was scared stiff and cried and cried until someone finally got me down. I knew then this family was trouble, but the kind of trouble that all families would love to have. There wasn't a family gathering you didn't make me laugh, Uncle Ray. There wasn't many Met fans in our family, but I could always go to you and Aunt Millie for support. Loved the yearly Met/Dodger games at Shea. "Lets Go Mets!". Those were the days. Wish they could go on forever, but then, they can, just not here. Thanks for the memories Uncle Ray and looking forward to the big reunion in Paradise. Please give my love, hugs, and kisses to the family and especially, Gary, my mom and dad. Tell them thank you for giving me my faith and tell them I am fighting the good fight. Pray for me.
