Comment on Claude E Griesel Mortuary - Chicago, IL written by: Jan B. 5 stars 10/22/2012 4:07PM Information needed about a WW-II wardead

Your company already exsist for a long time.

On 2 August 1948 at 11:15 hrs your company received the remains of a World War Two wardead, by the name of Charles A. Anderson, who was a Lieuteant in the US Navy. He was killed in Sicily on 10 July 1943.

Your company buried him in a cemetery in Chicgo.
Do you still have the papers where you can find the cemetery
would it be too much to ask if you can perhaps take a picture of his grave.

After his death, Lt Anderson was buried in the temporary American GELA Cemetery in Sicily. I am writing a book about this cemetery and hope to have it finished next year (2013).

is there perhaps an Obituary for Lt Anderson

thank you
