Dobies Funeral Home - Holiday, FL Madelyn R. Nineen Obituary announcement - Posted by EveMarie Gorton-Gnam 2012-08-10 08:52:49 Today I learned of the loss of my best teacher, Mrs. Dineen. It was her instructions in phonetics that finally enabled me to read and spell. Her knitting lessons for the entire class supported a local business, the Montgomery Worsted Mill, and taught me a lifelong, well loved hobby. Mrs. Dineen calmed a jittery class of 8 year olds through many an air raid drill. Her dignity and comportment were and still should be an example to all other teachers. You are fondly remembered Mrs. Dineen. My heart goes out to your family.
